STL Restoration Church is more than a place of worship—it is a ministry dedicated to restoring people struggling with drug addiction, individuals seeking freedom from prostitution and exploitation, and those leaving gang involvement to their families and communities. Rooted in the love of Jesus Christ, we believe that no life is beyond God’s reach and that every person deserves compassion, dignity, encouragement, and the opportunity for a new beginning. We offer separate Men’s and Women’s Ministry Homes where individuals who are ready to leave addiction behind can live in a safe, supportive, faith-centered environment free of charge for up to one year. We do not receive any state or federal funding; our ministry exists solely through generous donations and proceeds from outside work events. During their stay, residents have the opportunity to focus on healing, spiritual growth, personal responsibility, and rebuilding a strong foundation for a renewed future. We walk alongside individuals and families as they overcome life’s challenges, rebuild broken relationships, discover renewed purpose, and move toward lasting spiritual and personal growth. Through heartfelt worship, prayer, biblical teaching, community outreach, practical support programs, and a caring church family, we are committed to saving the lost in St. Louis and restoring hope where it has been broken. Our desire is to provide a welcoming place where people can experience God’s presence, receive strength for the journey, and become empowered to build healthy, productive, and faith-filled lives. We warmly invite you to visit STL Restoration Church, connect with our church family, and witness how faith in action is bringing healing, reconciliation, and positive change throughout our community. Together, we can restore lives, reunite families, strengthen neighborhoods, and share the life-changing love of Christ—one person at a time
We are called to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ through Prayer, the faithful teaching of God's Word, Spirit-Empowered Worship, Compassionate Service, Intentional Evangelism and Authentic Community.
We pursue restoration because Christ restores. We pursue holiness because God is holy. We pursue people because Heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents.
We lead with humility, service with excellence, speak the truth in love, and remain faithful to the mission of "Saving the Lost at any Cost."

Our Experience by Pastor Johnny Bell
My family and I have personal experience with the heartache and pain brought on by a lifestyle of drug addiction. Despite our different backgrounds, we found ourselves in similar struggles.
My wife was raised in foster care, pursued education, and despite her knowledge, fell into addiction through her first encounter with crack cocaine while trying to lose weight. She juggled multiple jobs just to support her habit.
My story differs somewhat; as a child, I was molested by family members after being introduced to alcohol. This led to a long struggle with my identity, seeking solace in alcohol, drugs, and other vices. These actions led to the loss of my education, jobs, homes, and ultimately, my self-respect.
While our children were never drug addicts themselves, they endured the hardships of living in an environment dominated by addiction.
More than 20 years later, we are grateful for the support of Restoration Ministry’s Men’s and Women’s Homes, from which both my wife and I graduated. We are living testimonies of the restoring power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as attested by numerous STL Restoration Church reviews.

FOCUS SCRIPTURE FOR THE WEEK - Ephesians 3:16-17
(Amplified Bible - AMP)
16 May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love,
(International Standard Version - ISV)
16 I pray that he would give you, according to his glorious riches, strength in your inner being and power through his Spirit, 17 and that the Messiah would make his home in your hearts through faith. Then, having been rooted and grounded in love,
(King James Version - KJV)
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
( The Voice - VOICE )
16 Father, out of Your honorable and glorious riches, strengthen your people. Fill their souls with the power of Your Spirit 17 so that through faith the Anointed One will reside in their hearts. May love be the rich soil where their lives take root. May it be the bedrock where their lives are founded so that together
Ephesians 3:16–17 reminds us that true strength begins on the inside. When life leaves us discouraged, weary, or uncertain, God offers more than temporary relief—He strengthens our inner being through the power of His Spirit. As we trust Him, Christ makes His home in our hearts, shaping our thoughts, choices, and responses. Like a tree whose roots hold firm through every storm, a life rooted and grounded in God’s love can remain steady in difficult seasons. Today, ask yourself: What am I rooted in? Let your faith grow deeper, allow God’s love to become your firm foundation, and depend on the Holy Spirit for the strength to face each day.

Calling all teens ages 12–16—this is your place to connect, grow, discover your purpose, and have fun! Teens Rooted in Christ Youth Ministry provides a welcoming and encouraging environment where young people can deepen their relationship with Jesus, build meaningful friendships, and learn how God’s Word applies to everyday life. Through engaging Bible lessons, open discussions, prayer, worship, group activities, and practical teaching, teens are invited to ask honest questions and explore topics that matter to them, including identity, friendships, family relationships, school pressures, decision-making, overcoming challenges, and living with courage and integrity.
Every gathering is designed to help teens feel seen, valued, and supported as they grow spiritually and personally. Participants can express their creativity and develop their God-given gifts through opportunities such as the Drama Ministry and Dance Team. They can also enjoy interactive games, team-building activities, special events, community service projects, exciting outings, and memorable times of fellowship. Along the way, caring leaders encourage teens to support one another, make wise choices, strengthen their confidence, and become positive examples at home, at school, in church, and throughout the community.
Whether you have grown up in church, are beginning to explore your faith, or simply want a safe place to belong, you are welcome here. Come ready to learn, laugh, worship, serve, and create lasting memories with other teens who are growing in Christ. Bring a friend and join us for faith, friendship, purpose, and fun!

Lil Lambs Church is a joyful, caring place where children can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and discover how much God loves them. While families worship, children enjoy age-appropriate Bible teaching, music, prayer, creative play, and hands-on activities in a welcoming environment. Every child is encouraged to participate, ask questions, and grow at their own pace.
Children explore God’s Word through relatable stories and lively discussion. Lessons may include God Made Me Special, Jesus Loves Everyone, David Trusts God, The Good Samaritan, Daniel Chooses Courage, Jesus Calms the Storm, and the Fruit of the Spirit. Each gathering may feature praise and worship, a Bible story, memory-verse challenge, team game, craft, role-play, prayer, and a simple take-home family question. Children might create kindness cards, build a “faith shield,” complete a Bible scavenger hunt, act out a story, or work together on a service project. Simple snacks may include fruit cups, applesauce, cheese and crackers, pretzels, or animal crackers.
Our nursery offers gentle, loving care with simple truths little ones can understand: God made me, Jesus loves me, God is with me, and I can be kind. Babies receive attentive care, soothing worship music, and safe sensory play. Toddlers and preschoolers enjoy short Bible stories, action songs, prayer, coloring, stacking and sorting, bubbles, puppets, and easy crafts. Activities may include matching animals for Noah’s ark, placing felt stars in the sky, making a heart collage, or marching around Jericho with soft instruments. Snacks for children who are ready for table foods may include applesauce, yogurt, soft fruit prepared for the child’s stage, or other parent-approved options. Infants follow parent-provided feeding instructions.
We want every parent and caregiver to feel informed and confident. Please share allergies, dietary needs, feeding instructions, and any helpful care information at check-in. Snacks are supervised and chosen with age and development in mind; substitutions may be provided when needed. Children under age four receive foods prepared in safe sizes and textures, and all children remain seated while eating. Ask our ministry team about current lesson themes, classroom procedures, and ways to volunteer. Come grow with us—there is a place for every little lamb!

Prayer for the Word to increase by the release of Holy Spirit Power
2 Thessalonians 3:1-5 (New King James Version - NKJV)
1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, THAT THE WORD OF THE LORD MAY RUN SWIFTLY AND BE GLORIFIED, just as it is with you, 2and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you. 5 Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
2 Thessalonians 3:1-5 (New Living Translation - NLT)
1 Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. 2 Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer. 3 But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. 4 And we are confident in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we commanded you. 5 May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
2 Thessalonians 3:1-5 (The Voice - VOICE)
1 Brothers and sisters, having shared all this, let me ask you to pray for us. Pray that this message of the Lord will spread quickly and receive the praise and respect it deserves from others as it has with you. 2 Pray also that we would all be rescued from the snares of harmful, wicked people—after all, not all people are believing. 3Still, the Lord is true to His promises; He will hold you up and guard you against the evil one. 4 We do not doubt the Lord’s intentions for you; we are confident that you are carrying out, and will continue to carry out, the commands we are sending your way. 5 May the Lord guide your hearts into God’s pure love and keep you headed straight into the strong and sure grip of the Anointed One.
2 Thessalonians 3:1-5 (The Message - MSG)
1-3 One more thing, friends: Pray for us. Pray that the Master’s Word will simply take off and race through the country to a groundswell of response, just as it did among you. And pray that we’ll be rescued from these troublemakers who are trying to do us in. I’m finding that not all “believers” are believers. But the Master never lets us down. He’ll stick by you and protect you from evil.
4-5 Because of the Master, we have great confidence in you. We know you’re doing everything we told you and will continue doing it. May the Master take you by the hand and lead you along the path of God’s love and Christ’s endurance.
2 Thessalonians 3 is the final chapter of Paul’s second letter to the church in Thessalonica, focusing on prayer, Christian work ethic, and church discipline.
