Our Experience by Pastor Johnny Bell
My wife, my children and I know firsthand the misery heartache and pain brought on by a lifestyle of drug addiction. Even though we came from totally different sides of the fence, we both ended up in the same place called “the dumps”.
My wife was brought up in Foster Care, went to school and even college. By her own admittance she was an educated fool. Her first encounter with crack cocaine was to lose weight, which quickly turned to addiction. She sometimes worked two and three jobs just to support her habit.
My story’s a little different. As a little child I was molested by different individuals in my family, after being fed alcohol. I fought and struggled with those events in my life. I questioned my sexuality. Was I supposed to be with boys or girls? Men or women? All the time I was trying to drown out the pain with alcohol, sex, drugs, etc. I ended up quitting school, losing jobs, homes, respect and everything else that comes with living that lifestyle.
And even though our children were not drug addicts, they were forced to live a drug addict’s lifestyle.
More than 20 years later we can thank God for Restoration Ministry’s Men’s and Women’s Homes from which both of us are “graduates”. We are truly witnesses of the restoring power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Eternal One (to Habakkuk): Write down this vision. Write it clearly on tablets, so that anyone who reads it may run. (The Voice)
2 Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.”(New Living Translation)
2 Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.(The Message Bible)
2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. (King James Version)
Vision is meant to be clear, purposeful, and shared. When God gives vision to a ministry, it is not hidden or confusing — it is written plainly so others can carry it forward. A clear vision unites hearts, strengthens commitment, and allows everyone to move with confidence in the same direction. As we steward the vision God has trusted us with, may we communicate it faithfully, live it boldly, and run together in obedience to what He has spoken.

We invite all kids and teens to join us every 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Sunday for a time of fun, friendship, and faith. Our ministry offers engaging activities, delicious snacks, and uplifting worship designed just for young people.
Everyone is welcome! Come make new friends and experience worship in a new way!

This is a Harp and Bowl Worship Service. Harp and Bowl worship is a practice where Harps (songs of Praise & Worship) and Bowls (prayers) are combined to create a dynamic structure for intercessory prayer (inspired by Revelation 5:8).
Harp and Bowl emphasizes unified prayer, congregational singing, and a flow between intercession, worship, and personal prayer. Join us in person or send your prayer request by using our chat icon or email us at info@stlrestorationchurch.org and we'll pray for you.
We center our prayer service around a monthly focus scripture which you can find below.
Romans 15:5-7 (New King James Version - NKJV)
5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,
6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received [a]us, to the glory of God.
Romans 15:5-7 (New Living Translation - NLT)
5 May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.
6 Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.
Romans 15:5-7 (The Voice - VOICE)
5 I pray that our God, who calls you and gives you perseverance and encouragement, will join all of you together to share one mind according to Jesus the Anointed.
6 In this unity, you will share one voice as you glorify the one True God, the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, our Liberating King.
7 So accept one another in the same way the Anointed has accepted you so that God will get the praise He is due.
